What Good Are Wings Without The Courage To Fly?

On Last Friday it was Anti bullying day. We all have to were pink let me tell you why. It so that people that cant stand up for them self so we all support them.So we all  STAND UP SPEAK OUT to bully's.That is why we all wear pink.

 later in my class my teacher said we are making pink feathers we all got 4 each per classmate. There were  different shaded of pink that we painted on our feathers then my teacher cut them all glued them on brown paper. All of the feathers made pink angle wings and on top it said What good are wings without the courage to fly? 

Let me tell you what I think it means to me. I think it is pink because we need to stand up to those mean bully's. If you have a talent share it with others don't be shy spread your talented wings and fly with courage don't let other people stop you and tell you what to do. It also think it means that show them that you can't break me down because I am me and me is special in all ways of the world.

why do we need to stand up to bully's. I think so that the world is a better place if we all do that so STAND UP SPEAK OUT.

 

My amazing pohutukawa art

  Our class did pohutukawa art. In Inquiry  we are learning the native forest of New Zealand.

  There were some photos  of pohutukawas that we had to draw. First we did a draft. We needed to draw the branches not to thick not to thin just right. Our leaves had to be good not to small not to big. The flowers were the hard bit not to long not to short the right length. When we finished we got to do it on real paper. Our pencil out line had to be light and soft then we finished  we had to do hard and dark with

black crayon. With the white it was a highlight when we put the dye it will stand out more parts. 

We got to dye it first was the leaves and branches they had green and brown we had to make different colour greens after they dried the flowers. They had to be red only one colour. When the flowers dried we did the back ground  blue and purple it was hard not to get it on the branches and leaves and flowers.

I fell proud of this because I worked really  hard  on this art work. The flowers are the right size. The leaves are different shape and the branches are right size. The most thing that I love about it that it is divine from any one else in my class.The hard part was that to make the leaves the right size and shape. Also the branches not to thin not to thick. I did a lot of drawing the right size and shape.

Hi how are you? this letter is going to you because my teacher read me your story.

Do you still work at your school?.I'm a student in pompallier school.

How many children do you have ?. I have a sister.

You guy have a really really strong realship with each other.

Mr Lovey when you say the same pome everyday it gets a little bit borning.

You guys are of the TOP you made the school flood.

Your story is a so cool. I loved it so much. You guy are really really  funny.

Here are some tip for being a better teacher ( not to be rude ) . Pay more attention to the kids. Mrs Dovey don't bring cakes everyday for Mrs Lovey. Try to make the kids learn.Mr Lovey try talk with the kids at play time.

My end of term

 This term was the best I'm going to tell you why.

This term was amazing because the mahi tahi were fun,hard. Our first mahi tahi was trying to get the chocolate chips out but the cookie stayed good pretty hard it was really run thought

My favourite part of the term was playing with my friend the game we like to play a secret game can't tell because it is secret. I play it with Isabella and Kristyna. 

The worst part of the term is when my teacher Mrs B move us.I  slightly like it because I sometimes get to be near my friends. Not all the time well my teacher says 'being moved is a good thing because you get to work with your other people.

This term we learnt about  time we learnt oo'o haft past quarter to and quarter past. My teacher made our group to a time poster.The cutting took a long long long time the putting them to gather was ok. We had a digital card a analoge card and the words. We were arguing and bonding kind of.

The most best of best part of the term is when my teacher   Mrs  B dose a Friday we do mahi tahi,art,we read the world worst children,library,maths,prayer.

Dear mum

I want a craft kit.I feel like making some thing after I do my homework.

I'll get more thing to do.I'll get more interested in it.

My imagination grows it will expand more.I'll get to use it in class when we do Mahi Tahi art.

I can make big creations and it can get messy.Later when I finish I'll clean it up.

I can make lots of different thing because some thing could be for you.Some could be useful and fun.Some could be for you and Mrs B.

I could make a birthday gift for sister her birthday coming up.In instead of buying a gift for her.

I hope you now that I really want a craft kit.

All about Dhruvika

Hi my name Dhruvika. I am 8 year old , I like minecraft. I love ice cream and pizza. I  do not like noise or big dog.  I do not like tomatoes  and I have one sister I am a family of four. I'm year 4 in my school and my class is kea. I like Literacy and maths. I have black hair and brown skin. I have brown eyes and my favourite animal is giraffe. My school is Pompallier cathicic school and favourite colour is red, orange, yellow, blue. I love television  and my teddy bear Mr Fred. I am sometime rude but I am sweet, nice, kind, thoughtful, loving.

My teacher is Mrs B and my friends are Oscar,Isabella,Kristyan,Zara,Payton. I like vaneli cake and cookie.I can't eat beff,pork,ham,but I can eat chicken meat lamb gote. 

My raining holiday news

On my holiday I woke up and brushed my teeth .I had a shower, got dressed, and went to the shop .  I love the newspapers because they have a word search in them. I found a word search book which had a  100 pages. The first one was super hard , then I did number 3 & 4 which were quick words searches, the name was  Beauty  and the Best.

On Tuesday I woke up and I saw a blue thing, when I came in the living room.  My sister came out and I told her about the blue thing. In a little while later my mum  came in and I told her too. In the afternoon the blue thing was actually a duck so we feed  it lettuces. My sister and I were scared because my sister said "ducks can hurt you.''Night time was here so the duck left . The next day it came back and we  feed it more lettuce, then  it left. 

When my sister was making brownie but some was still  raw. The next day my sister got  a tummy bug.

On Thursday I was writing my speech,  my topic was "why books are better than movies".  It was hard but I got it done it had important facts in it,  here is one, " I didn't add did you now that us human's  watched more  television than reading books" .Cool right ? there are 3 facts that I put in but I won't, as  it is long..

Week 2 of my holiday, Monday it was raining so hard like pouring .We had to help in the shop because we got a new freezer but oh no the shop went leacking my dad and uncle had to fix it.

The next day my sister and I got a hair cut after the hair cut my sister and I loved it so much we couldn't stop touching it.Soon we got Subway 1 foot long then we ate.Later my mum phone my dad he took a long time and we got home.We helped in the shop because we went to pack 'n save.
